The Bible Correspondence Course began in 1962 and after the Bible Society, is the longest running evangelical ministry in Turkey. From its early beginnings as a small and covert ooperation, the 1980s, brought a new level of openess and fruit when
local magazines and newspapers began to accept adverts for the BCC. The adverts were based around a simple strapline, "Have you ever read the Incil (New Testament)?" Explosive growth started soon after. In 1991, church planting teams and tiny local fellowships were brought on board for followup and course grading, so that the BCC became the key tool in church planting around the country. In 2005 we started advertising on the internet which is resulting in the highest numbers ever of new students writing in. |
