Christian in remote area finally meets others long after coming to faith |
B. lives in a remote region of Turkey (Ardahan) where, as far as we know, no local church exists. He is married and has three grown children. B. seems to have made a definite decision to follow Christ, but
had never met another believer in person until he was followed-up in November. Earlier last year, he was seriously injured in a major accident that left much of his body burned. When Hilmi, a Turkish BCC co-worker contacted him on the phone, B. was in the hospital, having only barely survived the accident. Hilmi prayed for him and B. credits God with a miraculous healing.
He also says that he has been having dreams of Jesus throughout his entire life. B. is a soft-spoken but very friendly and generous man. He is eager to meet with other believers and would love to have other believers travel out to visit him as often as possible. He asked us to pray for continued and genuine faith in Jesus and he is particularly concerned about getting his life 'cleaned up' for God.
