 “I have separated my life into two parts: my life before I was a believer and my life after I became a believer. In my life as an unbeliever I had a horrible personality and in addition I was an atheist.” “But my life was changed by an accident.
Nine years ago, while returning from Istanbul with my brother’s wife and my nephew, we had a major car accident. The car turned over 6 times and rolled 50 meters into a valley. While the car was turning somersaults it was as though a light shined into the car. This light was something I had never seen before and I heard a voice come from within the light. The light spoke to me and said, ‘I am Jesus. Don't be afraid you and those with you will not be hurt. Believe in me and you will be saved.’” “Then the light disappeared. The car was torn to pieces but we didn't have a scratch. It was a miracle. I thought a lot about the vision I had in the car and when I tried to explain it to people they laughed at me. Who was this Jesus and why had he saved me? My mind was totally messed up at this point. Then one day I saw an advertisement in the newspaper that said, ‘Do you want to know Jesus Christ? If you want to know more about him write to us.’ I wrote to this address and asked for a New Testament and course. I continued doing the courses they sent me, and through this means learned who Jesus Christ was and became his follower. This really helped me to grow in my life as a follower of Jesus. In addition, after believing I shared this good news with others. I shared with one family and in time the whole family came to faith in Jesus as their Lord and master. I continue to try and lead a life worthy of my Lord. I am now a member of the Samsun Agape Church and I continue to share the unconditional love of the Lord with others.
