Some stories from those who contacted us in August:
Muazzez is a 33 year old woman with 2 children. One of her children is autistic and because of that she has spent some time volunteering for an austistic children's association. Her husband is a truck driver who is only home 1 out of 3 months. Muazzez knows he is unfaithful to her but cannot divorce him because of her financial situation. She wants to learn about the Bible and Jesus Christ. We have sent her a New Testament and course. She is always asking questions about things like "the sabbath", the meaning of Emmanuel and other ideas and words. Since she started her contact with us she has noticed lots of people around her who read the Bible and support her in her search. She wants to go to a local church in the near future.
Mehmet is a new believer from a very Islamic family and he is fearful of persecution if he declares his faith openly. He has done several of our courses over the internet. He has many concerns and fears but he is trying to follow God's Word.
Nebil is a 37 year old man. He is a secret believer and we have many people who write to us who are much like Nebil. He writes, "Greetings I am a follower of Christ. I saw your site and liked it very much, especially the section on "God's Love Letter". When we read the Bible God is always ready to speak to us." He is now going to the church - Praise God.
Ezgi is a 20 year old woman. She writes, "I am interested in your website and in what you are doing. I am angry because you are trying to explain your beliefs to those who don't believe like you do. Please I want a person in authority to write with and explain your thoughts and to talk on these subjects." I have written to Ezgi. Let's see what her reaction will be to the person in authority!!
