Latest News

Dear Friends,

"I am very happy to let you know that on January 7 we completed the spending of the 2018 BCC designated gifts for advertising on Google and Facebook.

Last Thursday, the BCC sent out 1,015 packages of New Testaments and other books to enquirers. This number is an all-time record for the Course and we thank you for grateful support. This would have been a wonderful gift for the people who saw our ads over the Christmas and New Year season.

Here are some statistical charts of the BCC Turkish Website view of Google

See 1. “Dec 2018 - Google Anlaytics.”

People viewed pages on our “” website 464,250 times in December. Usually we have 2000 to 3000 daily visitors to our website, but by the end of the month this had increased to approximately 40,000 viewers. The age and genders are over 60% of young men between 18-24 and 39.8% of women in the big cities of Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir.

See 2. “Jan – Dec. 2018  – Google Analytics.”

Almost 2 million pages were viewed by visitors to our website in 2018. This was an increase of 353.3%. This also shows which Google channels our visitors are coming from, which cities, their age and gender,

See 3. “BCC 2018 Funnel”

Shows how many people saw our ads, how many filled out our form, and how many face to face visits took place.

The BCC ministry was grateful for this gift. Our chat operators were overwhelmed with work because of the extra visitors to our web site.

I think we have highly achieved our BCC goals in 2018. On average we sent out over 200 gospel packages per week. We mobilized local churches to evangelize their community and invited people to come to their meetings with face to face contacts, almost every month. The BCC ministry loves to share the Good News with seekers, distributing New Testament and tracts, and praying for their needs almost every week.

All of this great work of evangelism would not be possible without your support and faithful gifts. We hope and pray that your support will be used for the Kingdom of God and bring much glory to God. With your help, the BCC Turkey ministry will continue to grow in 2019 to bear a lot of fruit in this country.

Many blessings

Dear Friends,

This month we want to share the faith journeys of 4 people from the city of Izmir in Southwest Turkey. They are at different stages, just like all of us but please pray that the initial seeds sown in their lives will be continually watered by the Holy Spirit and they will become key ambassadors of God's Kingdom in their province and beyond!

I talked with him on the telephone. Actually, I had talked with him before as he came to our church and joined our meeting. He later came to Christ but then met with some people from the Light Church and started going to their meetings. He wrote to our website again and requested materials and for that reason, I met him again several months ago. He let me know he will be getting baptized on January 14th.

I met with him in late 2017. He said that he wanted to have an opportunity to meet and talk but because of his work we couldn't meet on a Sunday. We then met one day during the week and I shared the gospel openly. I answered his questions. After asking me a few more questions he made a profession of faith and my wife and I began meeting regularly with the whole family and study the scriptures.

Then they came to church and started to go regularly. We were always in conversation and we were always answering questions and chatting. After a problem with major debt and financial hardship and having to work crazy hours to pay the debt they didn't come to church for several weeks. However, thanks to the photos he shared on social media, I realized that he did not work on Sundays but that his wife and he preferred to go to other places. Later I also understood that because of the financial problems he fell from faith and said to me, "Where was Jesus and why didn't he save me," and blamed God for his problems. In spite of this, they allowed us to continue to see them, going to their home, having tea and chatting with them and we were always able to pray for them before we left.

We have been talking on the phone and messaging each other. Last week, The latest news is that Gamze,  the wife, told my wife that God did a miracle in their lives and Önder wants to write a book about it.  She said they also want to start coming to church again. We continue to pray and hope that they will return fully to Jesus and regularly become part of the church again in the near future.

We initially started to talk through phone conversations and then she came to our meetings a few times but she didn't continue. Being a university student she joined the Christian youth groups on campus. Presently on her Facebook page, she has the logo of the Illuminati.

We talked for a short time and I answered some of his questions when we first met. Later on that same day he made a profession of faith. Actually, he showed up ready to believe. Because he lived quite a distance outside of Izmir he started going to a church closer to his area. We continue to talk on the phone regularly and I try to encourage him. He tells me how thankful he is to us as we spent time with him when he first believed and how important it was to him on his faith journey.

Thank you so much for your prayers for these friends and the many others who are discovering hope in Jesus Christ!

Dear Friends,

We are living in exciting times in Turkey. The number of people coming to faith may be unprecedented. We thank the Lord that so many are open and so many are making professions of faith. Please pray, as always, for fruit that remains and that the quality of those who come to faith are also like never before. This month we would like to share one of the best testimonies we've ever heard. It is an amazing story of God's pursuit of his lost sheep and how he is faithful to those who truly hunger for Him...

The Story of Zarina

*Zarina and her sister were working on a movie (They are well known in the Turkish Film Industry), some of her family and friends said they would finance the movie and then cheated them. They were left with a major debt and were subsequently abandoned by friends and family and decided to commit suicide. They decided to look at the Koran before doing this and were left totally disillusioned by Muhammed and thought how could this horrible book come from God. Then they came to the conclusion that they needed to read the other holy books. Sultan found the Old Testament on the internet when a link to our BCC website popped up and there was an offer for a free New Testament. She decided to ignore it but when it showed up a second time a bit later she decided to request a New Testament, a correspondence course and a book. She received it a short time later. Her sister and she were both blown away by what they read and seemed to understand everything they read. Soon afterward they accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

This is a recent e-mail she wrote to the BCC:

Greetings Brothers and Sisters,

After countless nights of crying myself to sleep and vivid dreams I realized I had come to a turning point. After reading the Gospel of Matthew that you sent me, I kneeled, as if I had been preparing for it for years, and while weeping with all the longing within me took refuge in my Lord Jesus Christ.

I swear it is impossible to express in words the unbridled enthusiasm and excitement of that moment. I am a screenwriter and pride myself on using words well but there are no words that can truly reflect the eternal glory of God.

You don't need to send me any more books or courses because I now know my Lord and His name.

You can send the books you send me to other brothers and sisters who have not met our Lord in any meaningful way and have been deceived by a number of false prophets and false books. Send books to enlighten them so that in the mornings when they open their eyes, they will understand that they are not alone and can smile at our perfect Father who is not cruel and far away but full of great mercy towards us. Whenever any of my friends or family ask about my life I am giving all of the books you sent me to them to help them understand and when they are finished reading them I will ask them to pass them on to others to read.

In the meantime, I am writing an e-book to send to my family and close friends. In this book I am telling about the pain I suffered in the last year and my crying out to God for Him to answer and reveal Himself through the pain, and of course, how God answered me. I feel God asking me to do this. It doesn't matter what reactions I get or the final result. I have one purpose; To fulfil God's will.

I am sending this testimony to you with an eternal love and respect from the very depths of my heart. A few years ago I wrote a poem by the name of "The Lost Announcement". The thing that I believed I had lost was God. It turns out it wasn't Him who was lost - It was me!

Now you have brought me to meet Him and be where I belong. I want to thank you with the sincerest of feelings that are full of gratitude.

Follow up:

Some days ago we heard that Zarina had visited her mother and sisters and she shared with her mother and sisters and they came to faith as well. We encouraged her to take her family to a church there and I recommended a friend of mine who moved there a month ago. She went to meet Sultan and her family and was very encouraged. She said her mother was very sick so she can't go right now to church, but they will read, pray and worship God together at home.

Thanks for your partnership through your prayers!
